About the Role
Join our AI team to build machine learning models, data pipelines, and intelligent automation systems for East African businesses. You'll work on real-world problems: loan fraud detection, demand forecasting, document processing, and predictive analytics.
What You'll Do
- Build and deploy machine learning models for client use cases
- Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
- Integrate AI models into production applications via APIs
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering
- Document model performance and present findings to clients
- Stay current with AI/ML developments relevant to our use cases
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years experience in machine learning or data science
- Strong Python skills with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn
- Experience deploying ML models to production environments
- Understanding of common ML algorithms and when to apply them
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiarity with NLP and LLM fine-tuning
- Experience with AWS SageMaker or Azure ML
- Background in fintech or healthcare data
